On the 16^th of May, PRIDA’s new IPC Journal Club was launched.  It was wonderful to join with around 40 of our IPC and health colleagues from around the Pacific over Zoom- a big thank you for your enthusiastic contributions to this inaugural event. As the 5th of May was the 2024 World Hand Hygiene Day, part of the WHO Save Lives: Clean your hands campaign, Margie Evans gave an informative education presentation on hand hygiene and the use of hand hygiene audits in health services. It was great to then continue the conversation as people shared their hand hygiene events and innovations on the IPC Journal Club’s WhatsApp group.

This IPC Journal Club will continue to meet on each third Thursday of the month (Jun 20, Jul 18, Aug 15, Sep 19, Oct 17 and Nov 21) going forward; see below for the Zoom meeting details and our WhatsApp chat.  We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.  When you join, please ensure that your ZOOM name correctly reflects your name.
